Gothic Lolita Wigs – Rhapsody Silver

Muchos me preguntáis siempre por las pelucas que utilizo. La verdad es que cuando empecé a usarlas (hace ya bastantes años) tenía pelucas de menos calidad porque no sabía bien en qué fijarme a la hora de comprarlas, porque tenía poco dinero y, sobretodo, porque no conocía a muchas personas amantes de las pelucas (ahora sin embargo tengo a dos personas MUY puestas en el tema a las que pido consejo siempre que tengo dudas).

Ahora puedo considerar que soy algo más experta y os voy a hacer reviews de las pelucas que me llegan de diversas tiendas para que sepáis donde comprar y no os arrepintáis de invertir dinero en estas cosas.

Hoy os traigo la Rhapsody Silver de Gothic lolita Wigs

Al principio quería coger la blanca, pero Naomi Chan me aconsejó que para las fotos es mejor cogerla gris porque así no tenemos conflictos con la iluminación y que se nos quemen los blancos, así que si la queréis para fotos, seguid el consejo de Nao y cogerla gris, si la queréis para proyectos concretos de Cosplay por ejemplo, y necesitáis que sea blanca, entonces coged la blanca.

Many of you always ask me about the wigs I use. Truth is, when I started using them (many years ago), I had less quality wigs because I wasn’t really sure in what to look for when buying them, because I didn’t have much money, and, mainly, because I didn’t know many “wig-lovers” (now, however, I have two people who are VERY into it, whom I ask for advice whenever I have a doubt).

Now I can consider myself as a bit more of an expert and I am going to make reviews of the wigs I get from various stores for you to know where to buy and to avoid regretting inverting money in this stuff.

Today, I bring you “Rhapsody Silver”, by Gothic Lolita Wigs.

At first, I wanted the hwite version, but Naomi Chan told me that grey is better for pictures, because that way we won’t have any conflicts about illumination and white color burning, so if you want it for pictures, follow Nao’s advice and take the grey wig. If you want it for concrete projects, like Cosplay, and you need it white, then go ahead and take the white one.

Por aquí os dejo algunos detalles de la peluca, sobretodo son detalles en los que tenéis que fijaros para saber que no os dan una imitación y que no os dan algo de mala calidad, tales son las etiquetas, los acabados y el brillo de las fibras, así como el color.

 

I leave here for you some details of the wig, mainly details that you will have to look at carefully to know that it’s not a bad-quality imitation. These are the labels, the finishes, the brightness of the fibers, and the color.

Aquí podéis ver las horquillas, para mejor fijación, la red interna de la peluca y cómo van cosidas las fibras.

Esta es una de las mejores pelucas que tengo, creo que por los acabados os podéis hacer una idea de cómo de buenas son, aunque son de fibras sintéticas, pero vamos, una maravilla. Tienen muchísimas fibras, además las rhapsody concretamente tienen muchísimo volumen (lo veréis en las fotos siguientes) pero el acabado y el aspecto que dan es insuperable.

 

 

Here, you can see the forks, for better fixation, the internal net of the wig and how are the fibers sewed.

This is one of the best wigs I have. I think that, through the finishes, you can have an idea of how good they are, even through they are made of synthetic fibers, they are marvelous. They have a lot of fibers, and, concretely, the “rhapsody” has a lot of volume (you’ll see it in the pictures below), but the finish and the look they give is unbeatable.

Este gris es, más o menos, el color real de la peluca, no he querido subirle demasiado la luz a la imagen porque iba a quedar blanca (como os dije por ahí arriba) pero con estas 5 fotos más o menos os podéis hacer a la idea del gris perla que tiene al natural.

También mencionar que cada una de las pelucas que llega de Gothic Lolita Wigs llega con su redecilla correspondiente

 

This grey is, more or less, the real color of the wig. I didn’t want to tune the light up too much in the picture, because if I did, it would look grey (as I told you above), but with these 5 pictures you can have an idea of the pearl grey they naturally have.

Also, I’d like to mention that each one of the wigs that come from Gothic Lolita Wigs comes with its own corresponding net.

Lo cierto es que la que me vino con esta peluca (imagino que será igual con todas las de tonos claros) era de color mucho más clarito, pero como la usé para la sesión os dejo esta que aún estaba en el envoltorio original, para que os hagáis a la idea es exactamente igual pero de un marrón muy muy clarito, casi beige. Como veis también viene con instrucciones por si es la primera vez que usáis una.

The truth is that the one that came with this wig (I imagine it will be the same with clearer tones) was much more clear, but, since I used it for the session, I leave you this picture of when it was still in the original envelope. So you can have an idea, it’s exactly the same but in a very very clear brown, almost beige. As you can see, it also comes with instructions, in case that this is the first time you use one.
